I have been in legal practice since 2003, beginning first in the State of Ohio practicing energy, utilities and regulatory law representing large industrial energy users before state and federal regulatory agencies. I moved to Washington State in 2008, where I continued the energy, utility and regulatory practice on federal, regulatory matters for utility companies before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. In 2013, I chose to start my own legal practice where I could use my knowledge, experience and compassion to serve individuals and businesses whose core values reflect patriotism, hard work, and integrity in developing their work and providing security for themselves and their families. In addition to representing clients in Washington State district and Superior Courts, I have represented clients at the US District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, The Ohio Supreme Court, and the Washington State Court of Appeals.
My professional philosophy focuses on achieving the best possible, practical and efficient legal outcomes for my clients in all situations. Many people who find themselves in need of legal assistance, whether it be to start a business, draft a will, file a claim with a government agency or in responding to an unanticipated legal matter, realize that the legal system can be complex, confusing and intimidating. All of these factors make working with the legal system and achieving your goals very time consuming, taking valuable time away from your business and family. I’ve spent over ten years working in the energy and utilities industry before state and federal regulatory agencies.
My work has included counseling clients on regulatory compliance and rate regulation, litigation, to helping develop relationships between private businesses and with Department of Defense. These experiences have enabled me to understand the administrative and regulatory process at many levels of government, including the ability to litigate those matters in the proper venues.
I am a U.S. Marine veteran, having served on the Marine Security Force for the President of the United States at the White House Communications Agency (WHCA) and the First Marine Div.
